We had a busier week, being that we're all feeling pretty good.. finally...! Myriam took The Ducklings on their first O-Train ride. It's only an 8 kilometer (ie. 12 minute) ride, but they were thrilled.
Today we made our first foray of the season to the wading pool at the end of our street. From a logistical and safety perspective, we need 3 adults to make it enjoyable for everyone involved, so I took advantage of having my mother and Myriam available, and off we went. As you can see, Malcolm had a blast! Like Colin, he is a water baby.
The older kids tentatively decided to try to deeper end of the wading pool, but as you can see from Evelyn's face, the water was a tad chilly. Regardless, once they were in, they splashed around and had a great time. Certainly something we will do again next week, especially as the temperatures are expected to be in the 40s!
